Welcome to Springs Summer Camps
Our summer camp curriculum incorporates STEAM learning (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) into exciting and fun experiences for your child every day! The founding principle of our curriculum is that children experience the most genuine learning when they are having fun. We have integrated this philosophy into every aspect of our summer camp to foster play-based learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
Outdoor Action Adventure Camp!
Our group will spend the week testing students' knowledge while learning new skills all based in the outdoors. Certified outdoor experts will lead campers in archery, rock climbing, geocaching, shelter building, and outdoor survival! All activities will incorporate the components of STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Math).
Drones & Aerial Robotics Camp!
Ready! Set! Fly! This camp will be led by a licensed, UAS Part 107 C Pilot! Throughout the week campers will learn the FAA regulations of flying a drone, the physics behind how they work , familiarize themselves with how they can seek their pilots licence and will get TONS of hands-on control with a variety of drones to put in the air!
Kids on Bikes Camp!
EARN YOUR OWN BIKE!!. Through our partnership with Kid’s on Bike’s, campers aren’t getting a hand out, rather they are learning the value of goal setting, character development, bike safety and skills as well as healthy living. Kids in the program earn points for accomplishing milestones throughout the week and in the end they will come home with a new to them bike, bike helmet, bike tire pump and a tube patch kit. Campers will spend most of the day riding the urban trails around Colorado Springs.
How it Works
We offer several camps that all run concurrently with one another. Campers are only allowed to do one camp per week but are welcome to sign-up for multiple weeks. All camps are based at North Middle School and run from 8 AM - 12 PM (Noon).
Drop-Off & Pick-Up will take place at the main entrance on the South side of the building. Camp counselors will be there each morning to greet your student and answer any questions you may have.
